Pipe Relining Services
Our relining service is a proven and established method of placing a new pipe within an existing damaged pipe, without the need for excavation, and therefore with minimal disruption. Based in West Sussex, our services extend to the surrounding area to offer pipe relining services in Chichester, Havant, Midhurst and more!
How Are Pipes Relined?
The new pipe is moulded inside the damaged pipe using either air or water pressure, fitting it tightly against the wall of the existing pipe.
How Long Does Pipe Relining Last?
The new pipe liner material is similar to GRP (glass-reinforced plastic) and will be superior in quality and strength to the pipe which it lines.
When the process is complete, the new pipe will become rigid, resulting in a strong and durable pipe that is only 6% smaller in diameter than the original.
Reline Your Pipes Today for Peace of Mind
We recognise how a fault with drainage, blocked toilets or broken pipes can be catastrophic when running a business.
We’ll guarantee that our fully licensed drainage experts respond quickly to any reported problems – to ensure minimal inconvenience for both you and your business.
The relining process is suitable for sewers, drains and vertical downpipes, etc. The products used in this process are resistant to aggressive chemicals and can withstand extremely high temperatures.
As we work with local authorities, housing associations, property maintenance companies, holiday parks, retailers, and many more businesses in varying sectors, we know we offer the right choice when it comes to providing an immediate solution to your drainage problems.
Our Pipe Relining Method
All of our pipe relining and drain repair methods are carefully followed through to provide the best service available. After assessing your pipes with high-tech CCTV surveying equipment we’ll know the scale of the project and can start the process.
Then, we will discuss the different types of liners which are available to you. These will vary depending on the specific job and what benefits each liner will provide.
Whatever equipment we use we always guarantee it will be the very best option for the problem at hand.
For pipes with lots of bends, we’ll use a flex liner as the flexibility always leaves a smooth finish. If your job needs a long straight length, we will use an invert liner as once cured, the new liner becomes the pipe structure. On shorter runs, we use a drag liner. The liner is pulled from one end of the pipe to the other.
Once the liner has cured and we have removed all the installation equipment we will CCTV the run to show the new liner in position.
Pipe Relining Equipment
All the equipment we use is the very best in the industry and we make sure our services are cost effective. We guarantee that the most durable materials will be used, meaning your pipes will last much longer.
The type of equipment we use will be specified by the job at hand and we will always go above and beyond. For example, if we need to cut tree roots before installing the liner, we will use the effective Picote Maxi Miller machine to cut out the roots ready for us to run the liner through.
You can trust West Sussex Drains to be there when you need us, with the very best pipe relining equipment. A full technical specification of the products we use is available upon request.
